The Final Destination
(2009)
Terrifying events had to be painstakingly recreated and integrated into realistic environments (a shopping mall, racetrack and pool), which, in some cases, needed a complete CG makeover.
Hybride artists were also tasked with recreating human body parts for close-up shots in order to better illustrate the gruesome manner in which ill-fated characters met their end.
With realism playing such an integral role in the movie-viewing experience, Hybride needed to go above and beyond to create a new level of stereoscopic believability.
