JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Coordinate and implement recruitment and employer branding strategies to attract quality candidates;
- Develop a strategy to help promote Hybride’s employer brand all the while aligning with our parent company, Ubisoft;
- Establish strategies and identify platforms that are effective in reaching a specific target audience;
- Develop strategies in order to build an extensive talent network;
- Identify recruitment needs and make recommendations;
- Write and publish job offers;
- Update various content such as job postings, social media posts, job descriptions, etc.;
- Be responsible for seeking and preselecting qualified candidates, and sorting resumes;
- Search, document and sort candidate profiles;
- Attract new candidates through job forums, presentations, online searches, job portals and telephone calls;
- Validate work experience and make recommendations in order to improve skills and engagement;
- Develop and conduct interviews;
- Manage candidates during the recruitment process and once the selection has been made;
- Provide all the information required to efficiently guide newly hired employees;
- Consult online job portals regularly and follow up on candidate emails;
- Market and promote company recruiting events both on and off site;
- Act as a brand ambassador at various events, in particular at job fairs or recruitment events;
- Be on the lookout for marketing and advertising trends in the recruiting industry for all VFX markets;
- Manage Hybride’s recruiting sections on social media platforms such as Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.;
- Be well informed on the latest social media trends;
- Possess a solid understanding of Hybrid's hiring needs and organizational goals;
- Work closely with the marketing and communications team to fully understand and follow organizational guidelines in regards to company branding, using social media and any other external resource;
- Measure, track and report talent acquisition campaign results;
- Collaborate with other departments, as needed.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a recruiter or recruiting strategist in the visual effects industry;
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written, in both French and English;
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other presentation software, an asset;
- Ability and interest in writing job descriptions;
- Possess good organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and define priorities on a daily basis;
- Possess good problem-solving skills;
- Strong understanding of employer branding and recruiting marketing strategies;
- Ability to design attractive social media recruitment pages;
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes and candidate assessment.

- Strong knowledge of animation, rigging and CFX workflows;
- Ability to support the animation department throughout production;
- Autonomy to run shots in Maya for testing purposes;
- Experience using automated rigging systems;
- Knowledge and understanding of anatomy;
- Be a team player that can work closely with the asset supervisor, the technical directors and the animation crew.;
- Ability to follow established techniques and work in a team oriented environment;
- Scripting knowledge: PyMel, Python and Mel (Maya API is a plus);
- Knowledge of Houdini is a plus;

- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as an Environment artist or TD for live action feature films and / or television series;
- Extensive production experience on Clarisse;
- Proven experience modeling, assembling and managing large photo-real CG environments;
- Have a sharp eye for photo-realism and composition;
- Have the ability to work and solve technical issues independently;
- Strong willingness to grow, learn new methods and share knowledge with other team members;
- Team player able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
ADDITIONAL:
- Experience developing simple tools in Clarisse;
- Scripting is as asset;
- Shading & lighting experience is also an asset;
- Experience with procedural city generation and scattering tools, an advantage.

– 3D Animation or rigging experience a plus;
– Knowledge of Houdini is an asset;
– Knowledge of C++, PyQt and Pycharm, also an asset.

- Knowledge and understanding of anatomy;

- Must be creative and be able to develop new processes and systems to meet the production’s different needs;
- Must be comfortable with developing organic systems for characters (traditional weighting, muscle simulation, facial animations, etc.) as well as with developing mechanical systems (objects, vehicles, machines, etc.);
- Scripting knowledge: PyMel, Python and Mel (Maya API is a plus);
- Knowledge of Houdini is a plus.
