Some of the VFX produced by the Hybride team include: creating and animating snow particles, reproducing snowfalls and snow accumulations, integrating simulated breathing elements when breath comes into contact with cold air, and the recreation of a winter environment to represent an unforgiving and extremely cold climate, which is existent throughout the movie.
