Hybride artists tackled challenges such as recreating virtual elements and environments that would interact with the characters and backgrounds filmed on-site by Rodriguez"s production team. The Hybride artists then needed to create, animate and integrate virtual elements such as crocodiles, beetles, cobras, pterodactyl, swarming bees, tiny aliens and their spaceships alongside the infamous Mr. Black, into a colourful and childlike universe fully merged into a real-life context.
