Hybride a division of Ubisoft, revisits a French cinema classic by participating on Director Christophe Gans’ latest film, The Beauty and the Beast.
Hybride produced a total of 67 VFX shots for this latest adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. At the Director’s request, the studio was tasked with reproducing a virtual forest bathed in morning light. Propriety software developed in-house allowed Hybride artists to take up the challenge and push the attention to details further by adding elements such as squirrels, birds and butterflies, all of which serve in briging the forest to life. The end result translates into a "beautified reality" which is still photo real.
Hybride also completed final integrations for several VFX scenes by compositing various 3D elements, backgrounds (matte paintings) and actors previously shot on green screen.
